Meet Vanessa; the powerful woman who makes our products.
Vanessa Dabla is 27 years old and has one sister and six half-siblings. She has lived with an older half-sister and her family since she was 16. At home they usually call her Akoshiwa; the Ewe (a Ghanaian tribe) name for a girl born on Sunday. She is currently saving for her own place, because she is pregnant with her first child. She likes to cook and her specialty is Aplé with Ayoyo soup; a typical dish from the Ewe region.
She enjoys making face masks because she contributes something to the world, but her favorite remains the fanny packs. She is also great at making the plant bags. Vanessa never says no to an order; she is always ready! She would like people to know that she is very proud of everything she makes and that she hopes that people like the products she makes as much as she does.
Did you know English is the official language of Ghana, but there are nine other official languages? These correspond to the nine largest tribes of Ghana.
